The most important part of being a good breeder is helping those that purchase from us. Anyone can sell you an animal. Not everyone will help you learn how to care for that animal. We take great joy in helping those that purchase from us to learn how to care for their new goats.
There are many ways of doing things. It's important for you to find what works for your goats. We are always learning new things about goats. That's part of the fun! Don't be afraid to ask questions. We are happy to share what we have learned in our goat journey.
Enjoy your goats!!
Gibson Farm will only sell goats in pairs, unless you already have goats. Goats are herd animals and need companions. We care a great deal about our goats and want them to have happy, healthy homes.
All kids will be disbudded, tattooed, and vaccinated for CD/T before leaving our farm. If purchasing a bottle baby buyer is responsible for administering CD/T and booster. We do use a coccidia prevention in the form of medicated feed for all of our kids. Kids are dewormed as needed. We always recommend that you deworm any new goats regardless of whether or not they have been dewormed before leaving our farm.
Gibson Farm retains the right to retain any goat born on our farm. If a deposit has been placed on a goat and we decide to retain it said deposit will be refunded. We do our best to fill our reservations, but we have no control over what sex is born. If you have any questions about our reservations or sales policies, please contact us and we would be glad to assist you.
Gibson Farm terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

Bred Does Sales
Does sold as Bred have been serviced by a buck. Due to the chance of the doe aborting during transfer we do not guarantee that you will have live babies. Does purchased and paid for in full may be exposed to a buck before leaving our farm for an additional charge. The bill of sale will have the date paid in full on it. If it is prior to the buck service the offspring will carry the buyers herd name and tattoo. If the doe is already bred before the sale then a Doe only Service Memo will be issued. No money paid for breeding will be refunded after the doe leaves our property. It is the buyers responsibility to contact us after the kids are born. We will issue an ADGA service memo online to register the does. This allows buyers to use the online registration with ADGA.
** As of 1/17/2018 if you purchase an exposed doe you can purchase a service memo for $100 after the kids are born. A service memo is needed if you want to register the kids.**
Gibson Farm will hold an adult or already weaned goat for one week while you make transportation arrangements. If transportation is going to take longer than 2 weeks we ask for half of the purchase price to be paid as a deposit. No animal will be held for longer than one week without a deposit.
Our purchased herd members over 6 months old have tested negative for
CAE, CL, Johnes and Brucellosis. We have done some TB testing for those

We ask that you are consideration of our schedule in your arrangements. No goats will be picked up after 9pm. Buyer is responsible to know the interstate shipping requirements for the states being traveled. The cost of Health Certificates, as well as any other testing requested by the buyer, is the responsibility of the buyer.
